James (Jay) Faulkenberry Jr is the broker in charge and owner of Heartland Realty. Being born and raised in the small town or Kershaw, Jay understands the meaning of work and what it takes to get the job done. His 30 year working career has always been real estate related, ranging from management of large land and timber tracts, buying and selling larger timberland and recreational tracts to working with buyer and seller clients for residential home sales. Jay opened Heartland Realty in 2013 with a dedication to serving clients to the best of his ability and being honest about the real estate process and what to expect through the process. Holding both a real estate license and certified general appraisal license for over 20 years, his knowledge of real estate markets, valuation processes and negotiations has been proven to help his clients in successful real estate transactions. Jay puts his clients interest first and makes sure they are maximizing their property’s potential for seller clients and negotiating fair terms for buyer clients. His passion for “all things real estate” is evident in his work ethic and honesty with his clients. As a real estate broker and certified general appraiser in both SC and NC, Jay has the knowledge, experience and most of all, HEART, to help his clients succeed.
